Wind Measurement Pole
Accurate measurements form the basis of wind energy projects. Wind measurement masts are installed to accurately analyse meteorological data such as wind speed, direction, turbulence level and temperature. These structures play a critical role in the feasibility phase of the project and investment decisions are largely based on this data.
Extreme Jobs, carries out measurement pole installations at different heights such as 60 m, 80 m, 100 m in accordance with different terrain and climatic conditions throughout Turkey. These installations are supported by sensor equipment and data acquisition systems in accordance with IEC 61400-12-1 standards. The wind measurement mast is a temporary structure and requires a robust and secure installation; therefore, both structural analysis and access-logistics planning are carried out in detail.
Sensors are placed at appropriate altitudes according to the altitudes to be measured. Commonly used sensors include anemometer, wind vane, temperature sensor, barometer and humidity meter. All these data are collected in data loggers and can be monitored by remote access.
After installation, regular maintenance, calibration and data verification are carried out. The measurement period is usually planned between 12-24 months. These data are processed with wind simulation software and converted into turbine layout plan, energy production forecast and investment analyses.

Reporting Process
Extreme Works Technicians document and record all periodic control instructions, all application procedures valid from the beginning to the end of the work and every intervention in the repair process with photographs. Documentation archived in this way provides confidence to the customer in terms of evaluating the accuracy of the application.
Safety and Application Method
As Ekstrem İŞLER, we always read the safety data sheet of the products before starting work during inspection or during maintenance and repair.
Our team does not start working before the equipment and work safety precautions included in the safety instructions are provided. Every day, technicians are informed about the existing hazards and precautions to be taken by the team chiefs.
