COURSE OBJECTIVE

GWO- Nacelle, Tower & Basement Rescue Training will enable the Participant to perform injured person rescue operations in a WTG's nacelle, tower and basement using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques that exceed GWO's Working at Height's.

*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Advanced Rescue Techniques standard.

PREREQUISITES

In order to participate in GWO ART Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo must be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. At the same time, the participant must have valid GWO BST Working at Height, Manual Handling and First Aid trainings.

CERTIFICATE

This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. The certificate is valid for 2 years. We recommend regular practice of rescue procedures.

TARGET GROUP

GWO Nasel, Tower & Sinking Rescue Module is designed for personnel who will work in the wind industry or related fields and will take part in the wind turbine environment. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES

At the end of the Nacelle, Tower & Wreck Rescue Training Module, participants gain the knowledge and practical skills to perform ascending and descending rescue operations from a confined space in the WTG nacelle, tower and basement to the primary assembly area (ground or transition piece) or secondary assembly area (ship) using industry standard rescue equipment.
