The aim of the GWO Manual Handling Refresher training module is to ensure that the correct techniques in Manual Handling are applied and that delegates are able to perform Manual Handling tasks safely in the Wind Turbine industry / environment. The training is designed to develop participants' awareness through both theoretical knowledge and practical training.
*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Safety Training standard.
In order to be able to participate in GWO BSTR Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo must be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. Participants must also have a valid BST/BSTR certificate or training records.
This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. The certificate is valid for 2 years.
GWO Manual Handling Renewal Module is designed for personnel who will work at height in the wind industry or who will start working at height. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.
At the end of the Manual Handling Refresher Training Module, participants gain knowledge and application skills about the risks that may arise from manual handling, precautions to be taken, safe handling techniques and related legislation.
