Wind turbine blades are exposed to the most extreme weather conditions imaginable such as rain, snow, ice, hail, sand, heat, wind and lightning. The blade exposed to environmental influences is damaged over time. Quick response to minor damage identified in the wing inspection report increases the life of the wing and production efficiency by % 20 - 30 per cent. Technicians provide services such as repair of leading and trailing edge wear, balancing of the wing, sealing of small hairline cracks and holes, lightning protection repair and paint applications. Extreme WORKS wing technicians recommend regular inspections of your wings every year.

Warranty End Wing Control

Extreme WORKS technicians recommend that Wind Turbine Blades should be checked every 2 years after the warranty period expires. The control and maintenance performed on the blades whose warranty period has expired should be recorded and kept under observation.

Reporting Process

Extreme Works Wing repair technicians document and record all work instructions, application procedures from start to finish and every intervention during the repair process with photographs. Documentation archived in this way provides confidence to the customer in terms of evaluating the accuracy of the application.

Safety and Application Method

Apart from working at height, many products used in wing production are considered hazardous if they are worked chemically without taking the necessary precautions for human beings. Before starting repair or application, we always read the safety data sheet of the products we will use.

Work is not started until the equipment and work safety precautions included in the safety instructions are provided. Technicians are informed about the existing hazards by the team chiefs at the start of work every day. This information is recorded. In case of faulty or missing materials, each technician has the authority to stop the work. When it comes to Occupational Safety, Extreme WORKS never take risks.
