COURSE OBJECTIVE

The GWO-Hub Rescue Refresher Training will enable the Participant to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations at a WTG'using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques that exceed GWO's Work at Height's.

*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Advanced Rescue Techniques standard.

PREREQUISITES

In order to participate in GWO ARTR Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo must be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. At the same time, the participant must have valid GWO BST Working at Height, Manual Handling and First Aid trainings and valid ART Hub Rescue Training.

CERTIFICATE

This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. The certificate is valid for 2 years. We recommend regular practice of rescue procedures.

TARGET GROUP

GWO Hub Rescue Refurbishment Module is designed for personnel who will work in the wind industry or related fields and will take part in the wind turbine environment. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES

At the end of the Hub Rescue Refresher Training Module, participants gain knowledge and practical skills on what to consider when deciding on the evacuation strategy during a rescue operation in a wind turbine environment, what to consider when entering a clear and preferred evacuation route for the injured person outside or inside the tower, how to put the injured person on a stretcher and how to evacuate this person.
