COURSE OBJECTIVE
GWO- Single Rescuer: Hub, Rotator and Blade Rescue Training will enable the Participant to perform single rescuer advanced rescue operations within the WTG hub, rotator and blade using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques that exceed GWO's Working at Height's.
*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Advanced Rescue Techniques standard.
PREREQUISITES
GWO ART Single Rescuer: In order to be able to participate in Hub, Translator and Wing Rescue Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photograph must be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. At the same time, the participant must have a valid GWO BST Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid training and a valid Hub, Translator and Wing Rescue training.
CERTIFICATE
This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. This module does not end the validity period of the certificate. We recommend regular practice of rescue procedures.
TARGET GROUP
GWO Single Rescuer: Hub, Inverter and Blade Recovery Module is designed for personnel who will work in the Wind industry or related fields and will be deployed in a wind turbine environment. It is suitable for personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.
EDUCATION OBJECTIVES
Single Rescuer: Hub, Rotator and Wing Rescue At the end of the Training Module, participants will gain knowledge and practical skills in the assessment and determination of a single rescuer rescue strategy for various rescue scenarios in a WTG hub, rotator and wing, and the application of single rescuer rescue methods and techniques.
