COURSE OBJECTIVE

GWO- Combined Advanced Rescue Training consists of four ART modules: Hub, Spinner and Wing Rescue, Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue, Single Rescuer: Hub, Spinner and Wing and Single Rescuer: Nacelle, Tower and Basement.

*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Advanced Rescue Techniques standard.

PREREQUISITES

In order to participate in GWO ART Single Rescuer Nasel, Tower & Wreck Rescue Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo must be submitted to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. At the same time, the participant must have valid GWO BST Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid trainings.

CERTIFICATE

This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. This module does not end the validity period of the certificate. We recommend regular practice of rescue procedures.

TARGET GROUP

The GWO Combined Advanced Rescue Module is designed for personnel who will work in the wind industry or related fields and will take part in the wind turbine environment. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES

At the end of the Combined Advanced Rescue Training Module, participants gain knowledge and practical skills in deciding on the evacuation strategy during a rescue operation in a wind turbine environment, what to consider when entering a clear and preferred evacuation route for the injured person outside or inside the tower, how to stretcher and evacuate the injured person, how to perform ascending and descending rescue operations from a confined space in the WTG nacelle, tower and basement to the primary mounting area (ground or transition piece) or secondary mounting area (ship) using rescue equipment.
