COURSE OBJECTIVE

The Objective of the GWO-Slinger Signaller Training is designed to provide specific risk assessments related to the installation, service and maintenance of wind farms involving wind turbine generators and slinger signalling based on data from incidents and accident statistics, to enable the participant to perform slinging techniques and signalling during simple lifting operations through theoretical and practical training.
*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisation" Pointer standard.

PREREQUISITES

In order to participate in GWO SLS Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo should be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training.

CERTIFICATE

This course represents the GWO Sapper Signaller module. The Pointer Signaller training is a permanent qualification and therefore the validity period does not apply to this training. As a training provider, we recommend renewal of the Slinger Marker training every 2 years.

TARGET GROUP

GWO Slinger Pointer Module is designed for personnel working in the wind industry, applying sling techniques and signalling during simple lifting operations. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES</h3/>

At the end of the Slinger Pointer Training Module, participants gain the knowledge and practical skills to perform general routine lifts in a wind turbine environment in accordance with the lifting plan, to ensure that equipment is properly used, maintained and defects are reported, to suspend various types of loads depending on weight, centre of gravity, shape and size.
