COURSE OBJECTIVE

 The Aim of the GWO-Working at Height Refresher Training is to review and develop what has already been gained. It is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to be able to utilise, basic personal protective equipment and comprehensive basic recovery from height and safe and secure working at height in the wind turbine industry / WTG environment.
*Trainings are given in accordance with the "Global Wind Organisaton" Safety Training standard.

PREREQUISITES

In order to be able to participate in GWO BSTR Trainings, "Participant Health Declaration Form" approved by the participant, photocopies of identity cards and one (1) photo must be sent to Extreme WORKS "[email protected]" before the training. Participants must also have a valid BST/BSTR certificate or training records.

CERTIFICATE

This course represents one module of the overall GWO Safety Training curriculum. The certificate is valid for 2 years. We recommend regular practice of rescue procedures.

TARGET GROUP

GWO Working at Height Refresher Module is designed for personnel who are working in the wind industry or who will start working at height. It is suitable for the participation of personnel who will work in onshore or offshore wind sectors.

EDUCATION OBJECTIVES

At the end of the Working at Height Refresher Training Module, participants gain knowledge and application skills about the approach to emergency evacuation and rescue situations in the wind turbine environment, effective use of rescue equipment, correct use of relevant PPE, examination and related legislation.
